Observation event at Akshar Public School-Vadodara

The Amateur Astronomers Assocation of Vadodara (AAAV) arranges different observation events in schools so that students get exposure to different concepts on astronomy. One such event was organized at Akshar Public School located at Tarsali in Vadodara on 24th and 25th February 2023. The students of the school were sensitized with different topics on astronomy like solar system, asteroids, comets, nebulas and galaxies. The students were shown Moon, Jupiter, Venus and Orion nebula through 8inch SCT, 6inch Newtonian and 5inch Newtonian telescope. The school students and teachers got insight on sky observation and they showed enthusiasm to know more on astronomy. Total 950 students and 25 teachers participated in the event.
